Electroconductive Coating
Precision Coatings for Electronic Shielding
Electroconductive coating is a special industrial treatment applied to the surface of plastics and other supports, in order to modify their electrical properties for specific purposes.
Electroconductive coating modifies the electrical properties of plastic and other substrates, providing EMI, RFI, and ESD shielding.
These coatings, made from copper, silver, or nickel, ensure excellent adhesion, durability, and resistance
to peeling. We use UL-certified (Underwriters Laboratories) copper paints for Top-Level performance.
This coating ensures:
- EMI shielding – electromagnetic interference shielding.
- RFI shielding – radio frequency interference shielding.
- ESD shielding – electrostatic charge shielding.
Compliance with EMC (ElectroMagnetic Compatibility) standards is critical in sectors like medical equipment, aerospace, telecommunications, and electronics.
At the end of the process, we verify surface resistivity (Ohm/sq) using a 4-wire milliohmmeter.
Preventive sampling is available to validate coating quality during the design phase.
All services are performed at our facility in Rovello Porro, in the province of Como (northern Italy), just 30 minutes from Milan.
